Pavers can withstand more weight, last longer, and are easier to repair and maintain. All while being more attractive.
With so many paver options, there isn’t one specific material that’s most popular. The pavers we would recommend will be specific to your landscaping and home aesthetic.
Walkway pavers need to be at least 2” thick. We typically recommend 3” for longevity and stability.
We put sand bedding under paver walkways. This provides a good foundation for the pavers while allowing for water drainage.
Sweeping your walkway is the only consistent maintenance the pavers will need. Spraying off your pavers with water can help with mud and other adhesive debris. Paver sealing isn’t necessary on pathways but can help reduce UV wear and will keep the paver’s color vibrant.
